EMPOWERING FUTURE LEADERS – INTERNSHIPS
ILIA\\OPPMAKR is the name of a collection of individuals who believe in empowering people. We are a leadership-based company that focus on nurturing our team and providing our team an environment that is conductive to creative thought. Our internship program for passionate young people provides broad exposure in Iran startup community with in-depth training and continuous, hands-on learning.
The short answer is, Internship in ILIA\\OPPMAKR clears your career path. Joining our movement as an intern gives you the opportunity to work hands on in a professional environment. It often gives you the opportunity to attend meetings and events. By interacting with professionals you gain new connections and learn how to communicate in a professional environment. Also, how can you have a strong resume without any experience? Internships are key to building experience as a student or recent graduate. As an intern you’ll become a master of time management.
Our internship program is for people passionate about making effect in Iran business environment, those who understand that for a true career success, there is a need for a set of unwritten skills. This is an unpaid internship.
Our internship program offers 12-14 weeks of experience within our office at Qeytariyeh where interns learn various areas of research, analysis, documentation, reporting and project management, while grasping the overview of our business model, process, and overall strategy. Based on your skills, interests, and previous experience, we will work with you to create the ultimate internship experience.
We only use online submissions through below form to receive potential interns resumes. Please note that you must submit below form to participate in the selection process. To give you an idea about our selection process, we start by reviewing your submitted application. Of particular interest are your passion to make change in your business environment and expertise, understanding of and interest in multiple soft skills (e.g., problem solving, creativity, communication). The presentation and strength of the written materials are most important to the selection committee. The committee looks for a good match between your stated goals and background. Because we seek diversity within our intern group, we do not have a specific profile that we are trying to match. It’s important to remember that selection is a process, not merely a checklist of attributes or achievements. During the process you might expect several calls and hopefully 1-2 rounds of interviews in our office.
interns are volunteers
We treat our interns just like they are volunteers to a cause. This is good news for those who are open to the program, and bad news to those who apply just for a catch (resume building, connections, etc.). While we mentor our interns to learn several expertise, we focus on making our interns “creative professionals”.
The more you are in to it, the more you take out.
